Safety and Quality

Road Maintenance Pty. Ltd. is aware and experienced in maintaining the quality standard and protocols required by our clients. All employees maintain our quality reporting process, providing the high level of reporting required by our clients to maintain traceability and budgetary controls.  The Operations Manual sets out policies, procedures and covers all operations.

All employees are trained to meet the competency required for their position. All training, relevant licenses and certificates are documented and constantly monitored to be current i.e. Heavy vehicle drivers licence, Dangerous Goods licence, Construction Induction cards, First aid (level 2), traffic control and traffic management.

Traffic control and traffic management are undertaken by trained employees competent in the Victorian certification in order to comply with the Victorian qualification, 21783Vic and 21784Vic unit codes. Traffic plans are prepared in-house using a software package “Invarion” to the requirements of Australian standards and then issued to the relevant authorities for approval. An application for MOA is also issued to Vicroads when reducing speed on any road network.
